20th ANNIVERSARY MONTH / MAY 2017 In May 1997, Elliott Glick opened up the Starving Artist Gallery on City Island, New York. That original venue on City Island Avenue featured his own handmade jewelry, and the fine art / fine craft work of local artisans. This included handmade boxes, pottery, paintings and photographs.
Now, 20 years later, having added music in 2004, the Starving Artist continues: a space for the visual and music artist, for the listener and performer, for a harmony of space and spirit.
"Come in, and live right!" as Glick likes to say, especially during the month of May 2017, as we mark two decades of the Artist on City Island, NY
